Roboclean Home Cleaning System for House Dust Mites and other allergens (Pet Allergens, Mould Spores) Free home!
Some allergens are just 0.5 microns in size
That’s approximately 200 times smaller in diameter than a human hair. Many start life in the home – like dust mites and their faeces. Others, such as pollen, enter through open windows. When allergy sufferers inhale allergens or come into contact with them, their immune system overreacts, producing antibodies to repel them. Sneezing, coughing or a runny nose – an allergic reaction.
As allergens and house dust mites are smaller than 0.5 microns even when HEPA filtering is used, it is very easy for allergens to exit from an ordinary vacuum's filter holes and mix with the air we breathe in. Ordinary vacuum cleaners (dust-bag, upright or cylinders) have a basic filtration system. When filters are new or washed, the filters are clean and holes are open. In this case it will do a vacuuming job as well as blowing all the allergens through the filters, into the air. After a short time when the filters holes become blocked by very small dust particles, the vacuum cleaners are going to lose suction and no longer function as it's supposed to.
With Roboclean's powerful turbine motor and water-based filtration system you are able to clean all dust and dirts as well as other allergens by capturing them into the water basin and getting rid of all dust and dirt with the water. By combining its advanced separator technology and water-based filtration system that traps 99.997% (by weight) of all airborne particles 0.3 microns, powerfull turbine motor and a HEPA filter, the Roboclean achieves what other cleaning machines can not.
Dust Mites and other Allergens: Everything You Might Not Want To Know!
Pet allergens
Animal allergens are the next most frequent cause of allergic reactions. The allergen that triggers allergic responses to animals is found in their saliva, skin and urine. When the animal grooms, the allergen coats the skin, fur or feathers, and is spread by shed skin cells (dander) as well as by licking. The particle size of the allergen is extremely small and therefore easily airborne and breathed in, causing respiratory symptoms, itchy eyes, sneezing and skin irritation.
Mould
Allergy to mould spores and fungi is quite common and is often overlooked. Moulds are ubiquitous and present indoors for most of the year. Mould also prefer damp, warmer environments so are particularly found in bathrooms, kitchens, on refrigerator door seals, shower curtains and particularly in houses that have obvious damp patches and black mould on window frames. Due to the high level of humidity, they are also found in our beds. They reproduce by emitting microscopic spores, which are common triggers of allergies and asthma. As many as 40% of allergy sufferers are affected.
Dust Mites
Dust mites feed on flakes of dead skin (humans can shed up to 28g a week). It makes homes an ideal place for them to live. It’s not the mites themselves that cause allergies, but enzymes they leave behind in their faeces. Each mite produces about 20 droppings a day. Dust mites live in mattresses, carpets and soft furnishings – ordinary vacuum cleaners (dust-bag, upright or cylinder models) can not remove them.
Pollen
Hay fever is caused by an allergy to the pollen of wind-pollinated plants, including numerous species of trees, grasses and weeds. Pollen is produced in huge quantities in spring and summer. Evolved for wind dispersal, it is lightweight and in some circumstances can travel several hundred miles. The seasonality of hay fever varies from person to person, depending on which type of pollen causes the reaction.
With ordinary vacuum cleaners (dust-bag, upright or cylinder models) it is not possible to clean house dust mites, moulds spores and pet allergens from your mattresses and furniture. Ordinary vacuum cleaners have a lot of filters and those filters have such small holes, that cant be seen which gets blocked after a short time and lose suction. We also have another problem with ordinary vacuum cleaners. After you vacuum all dust and bacteria into the cylinder or bags. Bacteria, mites, moulds, allergens and microbes proliferate more and more. When you turn on those vacuum cleaners they all get blown into the air.
Rest assured, you never sleep alone!
House dust mites present in all houses in the UK and are the most prevalent of all allergens, causing allergic reactions in 85% of asthmatic children. The warmth and humidity in modern UK homes is an ideal breeding environment for them.
Our beds provide the ideal environment, with a supply of our shed skin cells (their food source), water from our sweat, expired breath, and warmth. Most efforts at controlling dust mites should be aimed at areas of the home where you spend most of your time and where dust mite load is greatest.
They also find skin cells and other proteins to eat in carpets, upholstered furniture, fabrics and furry toys. The allergen which triggers the immune system is mainly in the mite droppings, which are very dry and fragment into fine particles. These become airborne and are easily inhaled deep into our airways and lungs.
What to look for in an allergy home cleaning system?
The ordinary vacuum cleaner as we know it was designed to collect dust and dirt into a bag or cylinder with pores. Even though the pores of these ‘dust-bags’ might seem small to us, they are large enough for fine dust particles, microbes and other living entities invisible to the naked eye to easily pass through. For this reason, dust-bag or cylinder systems spew out dust and bacteria into the home environment while they are being operated. Moreover, the airflow of these pores, which clog up within a short period of time, gets cut off, thus hindering the cleaning process.
However, the Roboclean utilizes water, which is the cleanest, cheapest and most pore-free filter system available to provide high suction power, uninterrupted cleaning and complete hygiene. As it pulls in all the dirt and dust from the environs, Roboclean traps it in the water and leaves you with a pleasant aura of clean, breathable air.
